THE BEACH COMPANY’S CITY MARINA COMPANY JOINS FORCES WITH SAFE HARBOR MARINA

The City Marina Company, operator of Charleston City Marina, The Bristol Marina and The City Boatyard, has joined Safe Harbor Marinas. As a result, area boaters will benefit from the Safe Harbor Marinas’ loyalty program and access to its extensive network of marinas throughout the United States. At this time, City Marina Company does not anticipate any changes to its management team.

“We are delighted to join forces with America’s premier owner and operator of marinas and boatyards,” said Robbie Freeman, managing partner of City Marina Company. “The affiliation with Safe Harbor Marinas will ensure that we offer our members the highest level of service and facilities and provide even more growth opportunities for our talented employees.”

Located on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway in historic downtown Charleston, Charleston City Marina features 19,000 feet of linear dock space covering 40 acres of water. Its MegaDock extends 1,530 feet and is the longest freestanding floating fuel dock in the Southeast. The Bristol Marina is located downtown on the Ashley River and features 148 wet slips and 38 drive-on docks. The City Boatyard is the state’s largest and most complete full-service boatyard and yacht repair facility. Located on eight acres just north of the Charleston Harbor on the Wando River, the boatyard offers refits and repairs, yacht restorations and a 75-ton Travelift.

“It’s no secret that Charleston is one of the most beloved destinations in the country. Charleston is a place that our boaters already visit and will increasingly visit as a result of this partnership,” said Jason Hogg, Senior Vice President of Safe Harbor Marinas. “The City Marina Company does an outstanding job operating these world-class facilities and we look forward to advancing their legacy of exceptional customer service.”
