The team at Gulf Stream Construction, a Beach Company subsidiary and full-service general site contractor specializing in civil construction and infrastructure, is keeping busy with new and existing contracts throughout Charleston and the surrounding region.

Gulf Stream was selected to provide site construction for the Cougar Point clubhouse project on Kiawah Island. The addition of a clubhouse is part of a larger renovation that will include a 150-room beachfront hotel complex with restaurants and retail offerings.

Just north of Charleston in Goose Creek, S.C., Gulf Stream is providing all site construction for the expansion of JW Aluminum’s manufacturing facility. JW Aluminum is a global leader in providing a wide range of top‐quality flat rolled aluminum products around the world.

In nearby Summerville, S.C., Gulf Stream was tapped to build the amenity center for Del Webb Charleston, a 355-acre 55-plus community that will be located within the 4,500-acre Nexton master-planned community.

Gulf Stream has also teamed with homebuilder Gramling Brothers Real Estate & Development in Summerville to construct Phase 8 and Phase 9 of Cane Bay Boulevard, a two-lane asphalt road that will wind through the 250-acre Cane Bay Plantation subdivision.

  1. Hello – Your construction surrounds us within the Cane Bay Plantation. We do not have a Firehouse in Cane Bay and I am the Firehouse at Cane Bay Fundraising Committee Chairperson. Would like to speak with someone who may wish to be a Sponsor for your company at our FIREHOUSE FEST which is scheduled for September 23, 2018, 12:00pm-5:00pm at the Cane Bay High School Athletic Fields. Go to for further details. Thank you for your consideration. It would be nice to meet those who constructed our Del Webb Resort. I look forward to hearing from you and sending you our Sponsor information to participate. Sincerely, Shirley B. Berardo
