Leonard Way joined The Beach Company in 1998. His career began as a financial analyst for NationsBank after graduating from Georgetown University. He went on to be a commercial relationship manager providing loans and financial services to middle market commercial clients. Leonard left banking to earn a Master of Science in Real Estate degree from Georgia State University.

In his 20+ years with The Beach Company, Leonard worked as a financial analyst, development manager, director for property and asset management, and the commercial brokerage departments. He has assisted with numerous acquisitions and dispositions for the company.

In his current role as Fund Manager for Beach Real Estate Funds, Leonard oversees Fund operations focused on multifamily acquisitions throughout the Southeast.

Leonard has served as a board member for the YMCA of Greater Charleston, Junior Achievement of Coastal South Carolina, and the Bishop England Alumni Association. He was named to the Charleston Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” and is a graduate of the Leadership Charleston, Class of 2000.
