Ryan DeYoung joined The Beach Company in 2024, bringing with him 15 years of extensive real estate investment experience. A hands-on leader with a strong focus on strategic planning and execution, Ryan has a proven track record in business transformation and managing complex collaborative initiatives.

Originally from Charlevoix, MI, Ryan earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy from Western Michigan University. He began his career in financial reporting at Equity Residential before advancing through various senior management roles. Prior to joining The Beach Company, Ryan held key roles in Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis and as Controller at Core Spaces in Chicago.

In his current role as Vice President, Controller, and Treasurer at The Beach Company, Ryan is responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting and treasury, including corporate, development, fund, and property management financial reporting. His role involves managing financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy across the company’s diverse financial operations.
