Departments

Beach Residential is the full-service real estate brokerage for The Beach Company, working with clients as both listing and buying agents for properties from downtown Charleston to the Barrier Islands and beyond. Our professionals also work with architects, builders and financiers to market and sell residential developments including single-family homes, condominiums, raw tracts of land and large suburban subdivisions.

Our talented team of Beach Development professionals are passionate about creating great places to live, work and play. With backgrounds in architecture, finance, business and planning, our goal is to set the standard for new development projects across the Southeast, always striving to make the world better – one thoughtful place at a time. 

Office Administration creates an excellent work environment for our employees, business partners and guests. Our range of services include maintaining an industrial kitchen and café, coffee points, state of the art workspaces and a community zone used for business purposes, as well as a venue for community events. We enjoy wonderful amenities at work and our office administration services keep them pristine for the betterment of our employees.

Beach Real Estate Funds (“BREF”) serves as The Beach Company’s primary acquisitions division for existing multifamily properties with a dedicated team that identifies, acquires and asset manages a variety of multifamily properties through various investment vehicles, such as private equity investment funds and programmatic joint ventures. BREF strives to implement clear, discernible strategies at each property to improve operations, increase cashflows and ultimately provide positive returns to our outside investors who have instilled their trust in our company.

Beach Commercial is a full-service brokerage company that serves individuals, corporate institutional owners, investors and developers. As the preferred brokerage firm for one of the oldest, locally owned real estate firms in Charleston, SC, our business relationships network is key to negotiating the best deal for our client’s business needs.

The Information Technology department develops, manages and maintains The Beach Company’s technology-related assets including hardware, software and systems, and all IT-related policies, procedures and systems.

Human Resources leads all employee-related initiatives, including recruiting and onboarding, company benefits oversight and support, performance management services, employee training and development program. The Human Resources team ensures compliance with all employment regulatory matters and implements best practices to protect and elevate The Beach Company.

Marketing provides oversight and execution of The Beach Company’s diverse communications and promotion initiatives. Branding, public relations, digital and print communications, social media, lead generation, events, partnerships and community relations are managed by our in-house team of marketing, design, writing, digital communications and account management professionals.

Finance and Accounting supports The Beach Company through financial analysis and reporting to both internal and external stakeholders. Team responsibilities include procuring debt and equity for new projects, assisting asset management through underwriting and financial analysis, quarterly and annual reporting of financial results, tax planning, compliance and risk management.

Beach Management is accountable for the performance of the portfolio’s income generating assets. The department includes asset and property management which is composed of numerous Beach employees working in diverse roles. The department also works closely with development, leasing, and accounting to accomplish company objectives. Beach Management is the front lines for communication with tenants and is responsible for property operations, revenue creation, cost management, risk mitigation, budgeting, forecasting and value creation.
