Five New Hires in Charleston
Today, The Beach Company announced five new hires at its downtown headquarters and at The Jasper, a luxury mixed-use building in Charleston.
The Beach Company has hired Alex Yeider as a commercial property manager. In her role, Yeider will oversee commercial properties in Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Isle of Palms and Savannah. Originally from Wheaton, Illinois, Yeider received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Gettysburg College. Yeider brings valuable industry experience having previously served as a property manager for Lee & Associates and assistant property manager for Darby Development and Carr Properties in Washington, D.C.
Chamberlain LeDoyen has been hired as a concierge and events assistant at The Jasper. In her role, LeDoyen will provide the highest level of service to residents, offer administrative support to The Jasper’s experience manager, assist guests and residents in a branded, friendly and efficient manner and assist with all event set-up, tear down and follow-up processes. LeDoyen is originally from Charlotte, N.C., and received a Bachelor of Applied Science in hospitality management from The University of Mississippi. Certified in Hotel Industry Analytics, SafeServ Food Handling and Charleston Area Destination and Education, LeDoyen brings valuable industry experience and previously served as a sales coordinator for Raines Hospitality at the Hyatt Place Mount Pleasant Towne Centre, marketing intern for Charming Inns and events coordinator intern for The Inn at Ole Miss.
Laura Beacham has been hired as human resources manager for The Jasper and Gulf Stream Construction, The Beach Company’s general site contractor. In her role, Beacham will assist in facilitating human resources practices and positive employee relations for The Beach Company and Gulf Stream Construction. Beacham received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration from The Citadel. She also has SHRM-SCP and SPHR certifications. Beacham is originally from Florence and was previously a senior human resources business partner at C&S Wholesale Grocers, benefits manager at Piggly Wiggly Carolina Company, account consultant at Benefit Focus and donor relations manager at Charleston Stage Company.
Madison Richardson has been hired as a leasing consultant at The Jasper. In her role, Richardson will promote available residences to prospective renters, oversee rental applications, facilitate move-ins and serve as the point-of-contact for existing tenants. Originally from Newport, Rhode Island, Richardson brings valuable experience to the position having previously served as a leasing consultant at Greystar and as a marketing consultant at Kettler Management.
John Reyna has been hired as a development associate to assist the Charleston development team with new and ongoing projects in the region. Originally from Mount Pleasant, Reyna received his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Architecture from the University of Miami. A registered architect in Florida and Virginia, Reyna is returning to The Beach Company after an internship at CanalSide Lofts in Columbia 15 years ago. More recently, Reyna held roles as a project manager at Glave & Holmes Architecture and de la Guardia Victoria Architects & Urbanists, as well as a sales analyst at Wells Fargo Bank.
