NORTH CAHRLESTON, SC | Garco Park, located in North Charleston, was once the site of the Garco (General Asbestos and Rubber Company) Mill, a significant industrial facility which produced asbestos and rubber products for much of the 20th century. The Beach Company played a key role in transforming this area into a mixed-use development, incorporating residential, commercial and green spaces, including assessing, monitoring and and removal of all contaminants. The current site includes modern amenities, such as parks and housing, blending the area’s industrial past with contemporary urban development.
