The Beach Company announced that Merit Bank, a full-service bank headquartered in Huntsville offering commercial, consumer and private banking services along with treasury management, electronic banking and agricutural and home mortgage lending, is now open at The Range, a commercial office building at Huntsville’s western gateway on Governors Drive. Merit Bank was announced as the anchor tenant at The Range in early 2023.

Merit Bank occupies over 20,000 square feet of space across multiple floors in The Range. Spanning the building’s third floor, the company’s new headquarters consists of approximately 17,422 square feet in addition to a first-floor retail branch providing mortgage services and daily customer banking off the main lobby.
The Range offers 49,229 square feet of Class-A commercial office space, complete with ample surface-level parking, a common-area courtyard adjacent to the lobby, high-speed Gigabyte internet and walkability to nearby restaurants, entertainment and shopping options. Inspired by Huntsville’s aerospace history and burgeoning technology sectors, the modern steel and glass structure of this three-story building maximizes natural light, creating expansive interiors and upscale finishes.

The Range offers convenient access to downtown Huntsville, Campus 805, the medical district, Research Park and Redstone Arsenal. The building also sits next to its sister property, The Foundry, a 340-unit mixed use multifamily and townhouse development that is currently leasing residences, and STOVEHOUSE, Huntsville’s largest carefully curated work, eat, play, drink and event complex. Additionally, a Food City grocery store will break ground this May, adding another amenity to the Stovehouse District. All assets are thoughtfully connected via a 10-foot-wide pedestrian sidewalk that was recently completed, enhancing access and walkability for employees, residents and visitors.
