Beach Commercial Sells Two Historic Buildings in Downtown Charleston

Charleston’s oldest locally family owned full-service commercial real estate firm, Beach Commercial, a Division of The Beach Company, announced today it facilitated the sale of two historic buildings in downtown Charleston at the corner of King and Market streets. The buildings were sold for $6.525 million to Highland Park II LLC.

The pair of neighboring, three-story properties are located at 216 and 218 King Street and currently house ground-floor retail tenants with additional retail and residential units above. Situated in the epicenter of Charleston’s business district, the buildings offer walkability to the area’s top shops, restaurants, hotels, entertainment, services and historic and cultural attractions.

216 King Street occupies a total of 4,996 square feet with apparel merchant 120% Lino as the ground-floor tenant. 218 King occupies a total of 5,822 square feet and houses clothing and home-décor store Love Shack Fancy at the street level.
