Since joining The Beach Company in 2020, JC has made significant contributions to the organization. As Vice President and Director of Operations, he oversees multiple business divisions and ensures the organization is managed effectively and performs efficiently. Additionally, JC facilitates the company’s Strategic Plan and the implementation of many key company goals. He brings a sharp eye for detail and a natural understanding of the real estate market to his work.

Prior to his current role, JC served as The Beach Company’s Development Manager, overseeing multiple ground-up projects in the Southeast.  Before that, he spent five successful years as a commercial broker for Southeast Venture in Nashville, Tennessee. During his tenure there, he completed a diverse portfolio of transactions, including several development projects for The Beach Company, assisting in the expansion of the Company’s diverse multifamily footprint throughout the Southeast.

JC has an undergraduate degree from The University of South Carolina and a Master’s in Business from The Citadel. Actively involved in his community, he serves on several boards, including The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce and the East Cooper Community Outreach (ECCO), to name a few. He is also an active member with CRDA and ULI, among other organizations.

He lives in Charleston with his wife, Susannah, and their three sons, Charlie, Nelson, and Hopson.
