Tyler Cooper serves as the Chief Financial Officer of The Beach Company, where he leads the company’s financial strategy and capital market initiatives. As a member of the Investment Committee, Tyler also oversees financial underwriting, accounting, tax planning, and compliance. He joined the company in 2017 following his tenure as Chief Financial Officer of of Johnson Development Associates, where he led financial operations for a national portfolio of multifamily, industrial, and self-storage assets.

Prior to Johnson Development he worked at Flank Development in New York City and Cassidy Turley in Washington D.C.  Tyler holds a B.A. from the College of Charleston and an M.S. in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
