Since joining The Beach Company in 2020, JC has made significant contributions to the organization. As the Director of Operations, he oversees all business divisions and ensures the organization is managed effectively and performs efficiently. With a lifetime of mentoring and study in real estate, JC brings a sharp eye for detail and a natural understanding of the market to his work.

Prior to his current role, JC served as The Beach Company’s Development Manager, overseeing multiple ground-up projects in the Southeast.  Before that, he spent five successful years as a commercial broker for Southeast Venture in Nashville, Tennessee. During his tenure there, he completed a diverse portfolio of transactions, including several development projects for The Beach Company, assisting in expanding the Company’s multifamily footprint throughout the Southeast.

JC has an undergraduate degree from The University of South Carolina and a Master’s in Business from The Citadel. He is a dedicated community member, serving on several boards such as East Cooper Community Outreach (ECCO) and The Darby Family Foundation, to name a few. Additionally, JC is involved with Metro Charleston, CRDA Rising Leaders and ULI, among other organizations.

JC resides in Charleston with his wife, Susannah, and their children, Charlie and Nelson.
