The Beach Company Announces Four New Hires
The Beach Company, a leader in residential and commercial real estate brokerage, development and property management, announced four new hires joining the company
Justin Ciferno will be joining The Beach Company as an acquisitions associate, where he will be assisting in all acquisition efforts, including underwriting, due diligence and establishing upfront capital and operational programs. Ciferno earned his bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate and economics from Ohio State University and has held acquisition and development roles in the multifamily industry.
Nick Martellini has been hired as environmental assistant at Kiawah River, a waterfront agrihood on Johns Island. In this role, Martellini will work closely with the chief environmental officer on special projects, such as wildlife and water management, livestock care, forestry and landscaping, to maintain the health of the natural environment of the Kiawah River community. Originally from Columbia, Martellini is a graduate of Clemson University and previously worked with the operator and project manager at Atlantic Environmental Services.
Mike Alphonse has been hired as maintenance supervisor at The Jasper, a luxury mixed-use community located in historic downtown Charleston. In this role, Alphonse will be responsible for maintaining the property while ensuring residents’ needs are met in a timely manner. Originally from Charleston, Alphonse most recently worked as chief engineer at the Cambria Charleston Riverview and has experience maintaining properties including the Francis Marion Hotel, Hyatt Charleston Midtown and Waters Edge and Regatta Inn.
Kass Lawson has been hired as resort amenities manager at the Spring House, Kiawah River’s waterfront swim and fitness club, where she will oversee the facility’s operations and management while executing all functions related to food and beverage, events, fitness and pool, and ensuring the highest level of guest service and experience. Originally from Prosser, Wash., Lawson earned her bachelor’s degree in recreation and tourism management with a minor in business management. She additionally has over 12 years of sales and management experience that qualify her for this role.
